Part one:
Hey everyone.
I’m sorry I haven’t posted in a while.
After having six teeth removed, I needed some serious off time. Resting for a bit really helped the healing process. My mouth feels great! And it doesn’t hurt to sing anymore. Yahooooooo! :)
The past month has been INSANE. I’ve been constantly looking for a new/used car. After 40+ test drives, traveling to Chicago, Madison, and Harvard……I finally found a reliable Honda Civic. I’m pumped! It runs smooth, it has good mileage, it’s from 1997 so it won’t have to pass emissions, and it’s great on gas! The body has a few bumps and bruises, but that’s no big deal to me.
The bad news…..the van is gone. :’(
That van was a reliable vehicle, a home, a jam spot and more. I’m sad to see it go.
The van couldn’t pass emissions because of a failed knock sensor, the ball joints and sway bars were shot. It needed new tires, a tune up, etc, etc. I sold the van and put the money towards the Honda.
Part two:
I want to hit the road and start playing this music ASAP. I NOW have a reliable form of transportation…….and even if I don’t feel that my performance is at 110%, I want to get out and start playing ASAP.

Today, I’m in LaSalle, IL. I took a mini vacation to visit my friend Alex. I needed to take a few days off to focus and think about the next challenge in front of me.
I want to hit the road and play anywhere/everywhere…….but doing something like that can cost a lot of $. I need to focus and figure out a plan that will work well for my situation. Suggestions? :)
Part three:
I wanted to take this time to thank all of you for your recent support.
I released “The Jig Is Up” on March 1st, 2012. Since then, the music video for “Lower Your Tone” has received over 2,500 plays and I’ve seem a dramatic increase in physical sales as well as donations/downloads/likes/etc online.
I can’t even begin to describe how shocked I am to see that you guys are digging the new music. The support you show helps my situation in a number of different ways. You guys are awesome! Thank you to everyone who has posted the website link, the video, the Bandcamp link and the NEW Facebook link. Thank you to everyone who bought a physical copy of “The Jig Is Up”/ downloaded the music/ donated a few dollars/etc. Your help is turning this idea into a reality. I can’t thank you enough. Thank you to everyone who asked for flyers for your town, and BIG thanks to those who have been putting up posters at your local coffee shops, guitar stores, venues, etc.
Your words, actions, and support are what will keep this and me going. Thank you. You guys are the best.
Part four:
I finally sold these items - MXR 90, MXR Blue Box, Cajon, Djembe and a gig bag. I put that money back into music and bought an iPad. A close friend gave me a insane deal on one, I couldn’t pass it up. This will help with connecting with all of you, networking, promotion, and much more. Also, the iPad records video…..so I may start making video blogs in the near future. :)
One last thing……
I’ve had alittle over ten people ask me if I have tshirts. The answer is NO. I didn’t think making shirts would be super important right now, BUT if I keep getting people asking for them….I will get a small run printed! :)

I went to the dentist yesterday.
It has been one week since I had 5 teeth removed.
Everyday I have woken up with blood on my mouth/in my mouth/etc/etc.
I am a smoker, but I haven’t smoked since before the surgery.
The dentist told me that my mouth is still bleeding because of the singing I have been doing. He says that I need to not sing for a bit, and keep from talking if possible.
Apparently some of the holes in my mouth are still very RAW and that is why they are still bleeding.
No singing?!?
This stinks.
